Today I called my car dealer. You know that one or the other car manufacturer has got big problems caused by the so called global financial crisis. I was just curious because I had heard rumors that Saab went bankruptcy and the label would vanish completely.So I asked the lady on the phone: “How about the future of Saab?” And she surprised me when she said that there is a group of people trying to rescue the company. They have a website www.rescue-saab.com, you can follow them on twitter and you can subscribe to an appellation list of today 14,539 registered Saab rescuers after 26 days! This is a living example for holistic marketing: I is not only gathering information, contacts and trying to sell something to as many people as possible. More over there is the aspect of helping others who need help urgently. May you always have friends to rescue you if you are in big trouble. Christoph |
