Isn´t it hard to be patient when you know: Time Is Money! And you´re waiting for the money floating in as soon as you have managed to setup your website or blog …
Of course it is, at least for me sometimes, I must admit. Nevertheless it´s good to train being patient if you want to be successful.

But what does patience really mean, and how can you train it?

Traffic, Traffic, Traffic

As I said yesterday the essence of making money online is having traffic on your site. It may be one of the most hidden secrets how to get the necessary traffic to your website. This is part of Google´s ranking parameters which change from time to time.

Nevertheless there are some pros who are willing to share their experiences with you and tell you what to do if you want as many as possible visitors find you in the haystock called internet.
One of them is my friend on facebook, Matt Bacak who makes millions of Dollars every year with webmarketing and can tell you step by step how to succeed. I only can recommend you to follow his proven rules.
There are others though and I´ll let you know about them soon. I admire Matt Bacak because of his unstoppable well of inspiration finding things, ideas, techniques, friends he is willing to share with you. And much of it is free of charge.

Anyway, what you will need is some components to use and you should train yourself til mastership.

First you should know your niche. This will be one of my next topics. So come again soon or subscribe to my newsletter (see on sidebar).
Prepare yourself gathering as much info as available to publish on your website. This is the way to show the world your expertise in your niche. Tha´s what makes you attractive for your prospects and makes them willing to pay you for what you have to offer.

Second you need some technical stuff: A computer of course and access to the internet, any kind of a platform to present yourself to the public (this can be your own website, a blog with wordpress, blogger or others, one or the other forum, membership with Xing, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.), a database to collect your prospects´ adresses and send them newsletters.

Third you need friends to partner or joint venture with. A deeper look into the information business will uncover the internet as a web. Everyone is linked to everyone else, and it depends on you where your position in this game is. For a closer look on this you´ll have to came back or subscribe to my newsletter as mentioned above.

Last but not least you´ll need to have a lot of fun. As I said marketing by internet is a game. Play it as a game and it will be pure fun for you. And again, that´s also what makes you attractive for your prospects.

I talked to you about some basics of blogging, and I told you about the advantages of using Google Adsense if you want to monetize your blog.

All these are good ideas. But as long as you haven´t got any visitors to your site they´re worthless.
The most – and least expensive – visitors you can get sent to you by the search engines like Google, Yahoo et al.

There´s a whole lot of promises around that topic. The problem is: There can be only ONE NUMBER ONE under many millions of search results. But being the NUMBER ONE is like having an ATM machine.
