According to my definition of a success junky there are some essential features these guys have in common:
- A success junky wants success (whatever this might be) stronger than anything else
- A success junky shows symptoms of a workaholic
- A success junky always compares himself to others he believes are successful
- A success junky tends to be envious
- A success junky can´t stop running after success
- A success junky spends all his money for fast success promising programs
- A success junky is blind for the real, obvious chances right in front of him
- A success junky will pay his last dollar to the lottery hoping to win the 35 million dollar jackpot
- A success junky will never become really successful, unless …
You can add many more features that describe a success junky. And of course success junkies are men and women as well.
Ok, now that we know what a success junky is what can we do to prevent from being one?
Here are some options:
-
… wants success:
We can resign
-
… workaholic:
We can force ourselves to slow down
-
… compares himself to others:
We could ignore the world around us
-
… tends to be envious:
We could generously spend our time and money for poor and helpless people
-
… running after success:
We can train the positive thinking
-
… fast success promising programs
We could convince ourselves that fast success is not for us but only for the gurus
-
… is blind:
We can train our awareness for the beauty of our world
-
… jackpot:
We can do some maths and realize that our chances are somewhat of 1 to many millions
-
… never become really successful, unless:
… we decide to make some radical changes!

May be you are not a success junky, but I´m sure you know one or the other with symptoms like the ones mentioned above.
What would you recommend those guyys to do? Where do you believe are the solutions to be found: Is it working harder and more, reading more books, yet another workshop, guru shopping …?
Of course that can´t be what makes a real change to the poor guy´s situation.
Have you ever heard of the “AYAYA-DYLALYD” formula?
It´s a three step program starting with realizing who and what you are and sying “yes” to your life as it is.
So “AYAYA” stands for “accept yourself as you are”. I know this can be the hardest part of the whole program. So do not hesitate to ask for professional help. But it is the first step and the most imprtant one.
A Chinese proverb says: Even the longest journey must begin with the first step!
Step two is nothing else than dreaming. Dream your life. I do not mean dream of a new car. Dreaming in this context means, open your mind and see what happens. Do not judge what you see. Accept the thoughts coming to your mind whether they are “good” or “bad”. Do not expect your dreams to produce a pre-defined result. Accept to be surprised what kind of life your dreams will show you. You might get an idea of what the sense of your life might be, what your most important targets could be, what are your strong and weak character characteristics are.
The third step is action again. You decide to follow the way you saw in your dreams, make a plan, ask an expert of your choice, and start living your very own life.
So far for today. Read more about the “AYAYA-DYLALYD” formula here soon or subscribe to my free newsletter on the sidebar.
Enjoy your life now

A good place to find success junkies is the networkmarketing, mlm, homebusiness and webmarketing niche on the internet.
